Jude Law in “Skeleton Crew” and other stars from a galaxy far, far away
Four kids make a mysterious discovery on their home planet that leads them to become lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. The holographic circus that entertains Neel’s younger siblings is the same one that the Chewbacca family watches in the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special (1978).

From the previews, I thought this was going to be terrible. I’ve only watched the first episode and was surprised at how enjoyable it was.
Kind of a Spielberg-style Star Wars
I have high hopes for this one. It may be aimed at kids, but I still appreciate that style of storytelling at my advanced age.
There’s even a little social commentary
The first episode was fun and engaging, and flowed well, and it didn’t take itself too seriously. So far, this is the second best series behind Endor, but that could change with more episodes.

I think this series is a good direction for the Disney/Star Wars combo. “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
